CBSE Exams 2024: Registration Deadline Extended for Classes 9 and 11

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced an extension of the registration deadline for classes 9 and 11 examinations, scheduled to take place in 2024. The decision comes as a relief to students who were facing difficulties in completing their registrations due to various reasons.

According to a notification issued by the board, the last date for submission of applications has been extended to December 31, 2023, from the previous deadline of November 30, 2023. This move will allow students who have not yet registered to complete their application process without any further delay.

The extension of the deadline applies to all schools affiliated with the CBSE board across India, and covers both private and government institutions. Eligible students who wish to appear for the exams must now submit their applications before the end of December to avoid any late fees or penalties.

A senior official from the CBSE board stated that the extension was granted considering the requests received from various stakeholders, including parents, teachers, and school authorities. “We understand that some students faced challenges in submitting their applications within the previously set deadline. Therefore, we decided to extend the date to ensure that all eligible candidates get a fair chance to register,” the official said.

This year, the CBSE board has introduced several changes in the examination pattern and syllabus, aimed at improving the quality of education and assessment. With the extended deadline, students will have ample time to prepare themselves for the exams and familiarize themselves with the new formats.

While welcoming the decision, many students expressed gratitude towards the CBSE board for understanding their concerns and providing them with sufficient time to complete their registrations. “I was worried about missing the deadline due to personal issues, but thankfully, the board has given us another chance. Now I can focus better on my studies,” said Rohan Sharma, a class 11 student from Delhi.

To apply for the CBSE exams, students need to visit the board’s official website and fill out the online application form. They must provide necessary details such as their name, roll number, school name, and other required information. Once submitted, they will receive a confirmation email containing instructions for further processing.

In conclusion, the extension of the registration deadline for CBSE classes 9 and 11 exams 2024 has brought respite to numerous students across India. It signifies the board’s commitment to ensuring inclusivity and equal opportunities for all aspirants, ultimately promoting a stress-free and successful academic experience.
